About No Dole for Business

Why business participation in the No Dole program is critical

The No Dole program works because it connects students to the business community. Businesses can provide knowledge, mentoring, inspiration and jobs for students.  Often, a single exposure to a business can change a student’s entire outlook and employment prospects.

What local businesses can do for No Dole

Any business that is located in the community of a No Dole school can participate in the program.

There are many different ways that businesses can contribute. Each No Dole program runs slightly differently, so talking to the school directly is the best way to understand how your business can help.

Common ways that local businesses help are to:

  • Attend Charter Signings to show support for students as they pledge their commitment to a positive future.
  • Accept students for work experience, work placement, training, apprenticeship or employment.
  • Host students on an Industry Tour.
  • Visit schools to tell students about your business or participate in other parts of the program that educate and inspire students about your industry.
  • Contribute in-kind services such as a venue or catering for events, or participating on the management committee.
  • Sponsor an event or part of a program.

Major Sponsors and Supporters

We also have a number of Major Sponsors who support the No Dole program at a national level. These businesses provide a mix of financial and in-kind support.
