Tina Stephens, Administration ManagerTina joined Beacon in October 2005 and has a depth of experience in finance, administration management and accounting. Tina has an interesting and diverse career background which ranges from office management of a busy car dealership to business administration management of a digital media studio. Outside of work Tina has a passion for health and fitness whether it be climbing mountains in South America or trekking through some of Tasmania’s very scenic wilderness. Tina begins most days with an early morning gym session, followed by another passion – coffee! Tina has two adult children, Daimen and Danielle, who in addition to being family are two of her closest friends. Tina first became aware of the Beacon Foundation after attending a breakfast function. The guest speaker was a past employee who spoke with great passion of her work with Beacon and her subsequent new position as Mayor of Launceston where she felt she could continue this commitment to youth in further areas. “My position with Beacon Foundation gives me the opportunity to work within a team that provides highly valuable support to our youth in addressing the issue of unemployment, and providing them with real options to pursue when entering the workforce. I share a strong belief and commitment to youth and am proud to be part of this organisation.” |
