Tiesha Mc Gill - WA / NT Manager Tiesha.JPG

Tiesha McGill commenced employment with the Beacon Foundation in July 2008.

Prior to Beacon Tiesha was employed as a Participation Coordinator for the Department of Education and Training.  In this role she worked with students to help them broker pathways into alternative education, training or employment.  Previous to this Tiesha was employed as a trainer in the Job Network working with long term unemployed.  She says her past experiences help her actively promote the No Dole Program to students and encourage them to make positive choices for their future.

Tiesha has travelled extensively throughout the world and has recently returned from her second stint of living in London.
Tiesha will be leaving Beacon's employ in February due to the impending birth of her first child.

He has moved to Perth from the Pilbara and is excited about his role as WA/NT State Manager for the Beacon Foundation.

Brad has a long term partner, Kerry and they have an adult son Josh.

With hope in his heart, Brad is looking forward to getting to see the Fremantle Dockers play more often.

Abby Redman - WA Coordinator  Abby.JPG

Abby Redman commenced employment with the Beacon Foundation in August 2009 as the W.A Co-ordinator

Abby has worked in both the UK and Sydney as a sales co-ordinator for marketing companies and on her return to Perth began work as a consultant and trainer with a national Job Network. She worked with the long term unemployed and highly disadvantaged jobseekers. While working as a trainer she found working with youth very rewarding and says her experience during this time helps her relate and communicate with the students involved in the No Dole program.

After witnessing firsthand what long periods of unemployment can do to people, Abby is passionate about assisting youth to gain the knowledge and skills required to enable them to take responsibility for their own futures and choose a positive pathway.

In her spare time Abby is an artist, painting both ceramics and on canvas. She sells her work and has also had several pieces published in a national magazine.
